Description
Published byThe Chapel of Hospital Noble, in La Malagueta neighbourhood, Malaga, is a prominent example of 19th-century neo-Gothic architecture. Built between 1866 and 1870 by the heirs of Dr Joseph Noble, an English doctor who died in Malaga, the chapel was opened in 1875. This exposed brick building features pointed arches and iron cresting over the roofs, which is typical of the neo-Gothic style. On its main façade, a portico stands out with a large stone arch and a plaque that reads "Hospital Noble". The chapel is the headquarters of the Brotherhood of El Descendimiento.
