CIT Garum - Fishing Innovation and Technology Centre

CIT Garum - Fishing Innovation and Technology Centre, located in Isla Cristina, Huelva, is a space dedicated to increasing value and innovation in fishing.
Housed in a refurbished old canning factory, it exemplifies the close relationship that has existed between Isla Cristina and fishing and the canning and salting sectors since the town's birth. The sea is not only the economic driver of the town but defines the local culture and character.
The building's interior includes a museum display on the fishing and cultural heritage of the west coast of Huelva. In addition to exhibition areas and an auditorium, the centre offers various work spaces and rooms, such as laboratories, classrooms and resource centres, that can host events or meetings.
