The Olivar y Aceite (olive grove and oil) visitors' centre, located in Úbeda, Jaén, is a space designed to promote the living culture of the olive grove, bringing together and to life the most significant aspects of olive groves and oil in the region of Jaén. It is an educational space where visitors will be able to experience, with their five senses, this thousand-year-old culture, combining knowledge exchange, activities and the promotion of healthy practices. All set in a building of singular beauty called "La Casa de la Tercia", where past and present combine with tradition and new technologies.
The Olivar y Aceite visitors' centre has over 1,200 m² of event and exhibition rooms. The best showcase for the culture of olive groves and oil, where visitors are brought closer to this wonderful product through various activities, such as tastings, training and olive oil production courses, gastronomy, conference and oil workshops, and there are also children's areas with our mascot “Olivia” and a large shop.
In the historic town of Úbeda, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003, at the entrance to the area containing the monuments of this jewel from the Andalusian Renaissance, is this beautiful centre, where you will have an unforgettable time discovering the virtues of the liquid gold from the region of La Loma, one of the biggest producers in the world.
