Astronomical Table in the Sierra de Santa Bárbara (Higuera de la Sierra)

The Astronomical Table in the Sierra de Santa Bárbara, in Higuera de la Sierra (Huelva), is located at an altitude of 850 metres, next to the unfinished hermitage of Santa Bárbara. This space offers optimal conditions for stargazing, with a wide, dark horizon, except to the north. Equipped with reclining benches and informative panels, it is ideal for astrophotography and stargazing, although getting there is somewhat challenging.
You can access it via Colón Street, following the signposted trail. The track may be in poor condition for vehicles, so a 4x4 is recommended.
