Description

At the end of the twentieth century, the former Plaza de San Pedro underwent a major transformation following the project's architect Manuel Jaen, with the essential support of Pepe Noja, a sculptor renowned national and international, who wanted to convert his hometown in an original museum accessible to everyone.
This civic area, opened in 1986, became the first museum of its kind in Andalusia.
Currently, the museum includes hundreds of sculptures by Spanish first level authors, distributed by Plaza de San Pedro and around the Gruta de las Maravillas, the Avenida de Huelva, Gran Vía and Plaza de Santa Lucía.
