The Cabra Bullring is the oldest bullring in the province of Cordoba. It officially opened on 24 June 1857, with the participation of the bullfighters Francisco Arjona Guillén "Cuchares" and Antonio Sánchez "El Tato". It is shaped as a 16-sided polygon, with an arena with a 43-metre diameter, and a capacity of 6,167 spectators, making it a third-class venue. Significant renovations were carried out in 1888 and 1904, including the removal of wooden barriers and the construction of a 2-metre-wide alleyway.
The bullring hosts bullfights mainly in April and September, at the same time as local festivities. In addition to bullfighting events, the Cabra Bullring is a tourist attraction because of its historic and architectural value.
