Considered the financial center of Madrid, Azca brings together some of the city's most important buildings and skyscrapers, and boasts a high level of daily professional and commercial activity. Restaurants and cafes, fashion and accessory shops, as well as shopping centers, define the life of this complex.

The Azca commercial axis is located in the north of the city, in the heart of the economic, financial, and business district, the so-called AZCA Complex, which extends between Paseo de la Castellana and the streets of Orense, Raimundo Fernández Villaverde, and General Perón.

In 1957, architect Antonio Perpiñá designed a project to develop this area of Madrid, inspired by New York's Rockefeller Center, which was approved in 1964. When construction began, Azca was located on the outskirts of the city. Azca Complex: This AZCA complex features some of the city's most prominent skyscrapers, such as the Torre Picasso, the Torre Europa, the current BBVA headquarters, and Castellana 81. In addition to the skyscrapers, it also has several lower levels, a labyrinth of basements and passageways through which thousands of people pass, both professionals and pedestrians shopping. Approximately 4 kilometers from the Azca area, you can visit the prominent Cuatro Torres Business Area, located on Paseo de la Castellana in the Chamartín district. It features the Eurostars Madrid Tower, a five-star hotel located in the PwC Tower, which includes a spa, massage center, and the Volvoreta Mediterranean restaurant with a terrace. Within the Caleido Tower, the Caleido space stands out, offering a shopping and dining area with a wide variety of fashion brands and culinary options from around the world. Technology and Retail Chains: A defining characteristic of the area, due in part to its location in a predominantly business district, is the presence of technology and mobile phone stores, although fashion is the main attraction. In fact, El Corte Inglés department stores have one of their largest locations on Paseo de la Castellana (the Nuevos Ministerios metro station has a direct exit to this shopping center), with truly luxurious corridors showcasing leading fashion, accessories, and jewelry brands, including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Bvlgari, and Michael Kors. And for football fans, inside the Bernabéu Stadium (on Calle Padre Damián, next to the entrance to the Presidential Box) is the new Real Madrid store where you can find the full range of official merchandise.
