Located inside the Cibeles Palace, Madrid's City Hall, this large courtyard, notable for its immense glass dome, hosts various public and private events throughout the year.
The gallery is a 2,800-square-meter multifunctional space enclosed by a sophisticated glass structure composed of more than 2,000 unique triangular panes of glass, rising to a height of 30 meters. In the 17th century, it formed part of the grounds of the Buen Retiro Palace, and later, in the 19th century, it housed a pleasure garden. In the 20th century, it was integrated into the Communications Palace as a passageway and loading dock, and after its restoration and renovation, it has become an essential element of Madrid's City Hall.
Conceived as a space open to the public every day of the week, it features underfloor heating and air conditioning.
