Church of San Pedro

The Church of San Pedro in Carmona, built in the 15th century on the site of an old shrine, is an important Baroque building. It has a stunning tower crowned by the figure of the Giraldillo, and rich interior décor. Although the high altar got damaged in a fire in 1984, it is still a place of worship. Located next to the Puerta de Sevilla gate, it is a landmark in the old town and a must-see tourist destination in Carmona.
