Madrid's former slaughterhouse, a complex of Neo-Mudéjar style pavilions built in the early 20th century on the banks of the Manzanares River, is now a small city dedicated to culture. Here, visitors will find the Madrid City Council's Center for Contemporary Creation, a vibrant space for enjoying culture, artistic experimentation, and the exchange of ideas in the fields of visual, performing, and performance arts, design, literature, digital culture, architecture, and many other creative practices.
