Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Cinta

Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Cinta, located on the outskirts of the town, in the area known as “El Conquero”, is a shrine to the Patron Saint of the city.

Also known as the Shrine of La Cinta Sanctuary of La Cinta, it was built in Gothic style in the 15th century and has undergone many transformations. It consists of three central naves built in brick, conserving elements of its Mudejar past in the horse shoes arch in the centre. The recently restored mural depicts the Virgin de la Cinta.
