Spanish National Youth Orchestra (JONDE)

The Spanish National Youth Orchestra (JONDE), belonging to the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM, Ministry of Culture), was created in 1983 with the purpose of providing the highest level of training to Spanish musicians in the stage prior to their professional careers. Its primary objective is the professional and artistic development of its musicians through the study and practice of the universal symphonic and chamber repertoire, by means of several annual workshops. These workshops are mentored by professors and conducted by nationally and internationally renowned conductors, and culminate in concert tours, participation in diverse projects, and the recording of an already extensive catalog of CDs and DVDs.
