Nestled in the heart of a 116-hectare pastureland and surrounded by holm oaks, cork oaks, pines, vineyards, and almond trees, lies the Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor, a 15th-century castle-palace built upon an earlier 11th-century fortress. It invites guests to relax, far from the noise, in close contact with nature. Popular tradition named the castle ‘Del Buen Amor’ (Of Good Love) because it was the residence of Bishop Don Alonso de Fonseca Quijada, his lover Doña Teresa de las Cuevas, and the four children they had together.

The castle retains many of its original features and is decorated with antique furniture that complements the building's character. Outside, there is a swimming pool, several terraces, a small lagoon, and a hedge maze. The Posada del Buen Amor is structured around the central Gothic courtyard, with the reception, bar, convention hall, and five social lounges located in what were once the castle's noble rooms. These lounges offer spaces where guests can listen to music, read books from the castle library, play board games, and more.
