After 27 years of closure, the former North Station reopened its doors as a large leisure and cultural complex called La Estación. Within it is this large performance space, which offers a varied program encompassing all kinds of shows, from theater and concerts to musicals and cabaret.
The venue has a variable capacity depending on the show. When theater and cabaret are programmed, it is called the Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío. If concerts are programmed, then its name changes to Warner Music Station.
Prior to its inauguration in the old building, the theater featured a baroque mirrored tent called the Spiegeltent outside the station, inspired by German ballrooms before World War II, which hosted its cultural programming from 2016 until the summer of 2019.
