Casa de América is one of the city's most active cultural institutions. This consortium, formed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, the Community of Madrid, and the Madrid City Council, aims to strengthen ties between Spain and the Americas, particularly Latin America and the Caribbean. To this end, it organizes all kinds of cultural events, such as exhibitions, conferences, and film and literary series.

Its headquarters (the Palacio de Linares), on the Paseo del Arte, is a true gem and a must-see.

Its clean architecture—the work of Carlos Colubí, Adolf Ombrecht, and Manuel Aníbal Álvarez—is made of limestone and houses an interior rich in Parisian furniture, lamps, and bronzes, Antwerp crystal, carpets from the Royal Tapestry Factory, and a select collection of paintings by artists such as Francisco Pradilla, Manuel Domínguez, and Alejandro Ferrant. Inside the Linares Palace is also the Raimunda restaurant, where you can enjoy a fusion of Spanish and Latin American cuisines. The restaurant is divided into three spaces: a main dining room decorated by Madrid In Love, which transports diners to Latin American countries; a more informal area with a private club feel, perfect for lingering into the evening; and a terrace that, with the arrival of warmer weather, transforms into a verdant oasis in the heart of Madrid.
