The Madrid Wax Museum is an ideal place to enjoy a fun afternoon, especially if you visit with children. Opened in 1972, this museum goes far beyond a simple wax figure exhibit: it's an immersive experience that combines recreated environments, sounds, and a unique opportunity to learn about history through its more than 450 figures. These figures represent personalities from diverse eras, disciplines, and professions, from famous athletes and celebrities to historical figures. Among its latest additions is an impressive figure of Pope Leo XIV, making it the first and only museum to present a sculpture of this kind of the current Pope. The museum has paid special attention to representing the world of children and young people, with characters such as Pocoyo, Eli and Pato, E.T., and Buzz Lightyear, among others. One of the most popular galleries with adult visitors is the Wax Horror Experience, dedicated to horror films and featuring figures like Hannibal Lecter, Nosferatu, and many more. In this area, it's not uncommon for a live character to occasionally appear, adding an extra touch of excitement and making the visit an unforgettable experience. For the bravest, the museum organizes exclusive Mentalism sessions, led by Pablo Raijenstein and Lorena Toré. During these sessions, participants explore the museum in complete darkness, guided only by flashlights, after it has closed to the public. Over approximately 90 minutes, attendees discover the secrets and mysteries hidden within the museum and the enigmatic events that have taken place there.
