Miel La Alameña

Miel La Alameña has been dedicated to harvesting, packaging and direct sales of honey since 2003. In 2003, beekeeper Reyes Martín La Alameña founded her own honey harvesting, packaging, and sales company, based in El Álamo, Seville.
She personally oversees the entire process, ensuring 100% artisanal honey – a product with very limited production, as the company currently has fewer than 900 hives.
During the pre-arranged visit, you'll get detailed insight into life in the hive, from the different types of bees and their roles – reproduction, foraging and hive maintenance – to how wax, honey, royal jelly and other products are made.
