IAACC Pablo Serrano

MuseumZaragoza, Spain

Description

Published by
Pablo Serrano Aguilar, born in Crivillén (Teruel) in 1908, was a sculptor considered one of the most important Spanish artists of the 20th century.

The museum is located in the former carpentry and other trades workshops of the Pignatelli Home, where Pablo Serrano's grandfather had worked as a master carpenter.

After extensive renovation and adaptation of the buildings, designed by the architect José Manuel Pérez Latorre, the museum opened in May 1994, thanks to works from the bequests of Pablo Serrano and Juana Francés, as well as other donations and acquisitions.
