Caesaraugusta River Port Museum

Description
Published by
In Roman times, the Ebro River was navigable from Dertosa (Tortosa) to Vareia (present-day Logroño), and its banks were the center of intense trade.
The River Port of Caesaraugusta, built in the 1st century AD, was the main redistribution hub in the center of the valley for goods from both the interior (wheat, wood, iron, hides, linen, etc.) and the coast (wine, salted fish, ceramics, marble, jewelry, etc.).
Inside, we will see a measuring scale called the Ebrometer, which reflects two of the river's most significant flood levels.
